I got a little bit stuck with this project and didn't knew how to go further. But after Dem's tutorials I started to move on.

New Ideas:
1. Play with the materials that I have : how plastic lattice works with a soft material, how it stretches :

2. Change the vintage looking material to something else ;

For example something that looks like Anish Kapoor sculptures:

3. Scale : make the final peace bigger, for example 50 cm tall or taller.
4. Cut small rhombus mirror peaces with laser cuter and put them in a plastic lattice:
